I am so excited to introduce The Holistica Hive Shop! This has been a long time coming and it's amazing to see the store up and running! Our first test-round sold out completely before the store was even live and I am so beyond grateful for all of the support!
Another thing I'm super proud of, is that all of the beautiful product pictures you see on the site were taken by my beautifully smart and caring 11-year-old sister. Yes... she's super talented with a camera!
Now let's get down to business... what products do we carry???
Living Libations is our current skin-care line that we carry (we have some skin care surprises coming your way!). This line is crafted in Canada, and utilizes high-quality, sustainably sourced plant materials. There are ZERO synthetic preservatives and the packaging is mainly glass with bamboo tops. The line is created by Nadine Artemis, one of my personal skin-care and all things wellness, role models. Her point of view on the skin is to heal & nourish, rather than strip away using synthetic preservatives and harsh additives. This is the main line that I work with and my client's have experienced amazing results with their skin!
Gua Sha Tools are an absolute necessity if you are wanting to nourish the skin from the inside out. Gua Sha (pronounced GOO-AH SAH) comes from Chinese Medicine and is an ancient massage technique using stones generally made of jade or rose quartz. This technique is designed to clear stagnation and accumulation in the channels of the skin, enabling the renewal of the lymph, activating circulation, stimulating cell activity and the regeneration of the facial tissue.
This technique can help muscle tone, texture, and support the underlying tissues that house our natural collagen. It’s not only amazing for your skin but it’s an incredible stress relieving practice to incorporate into your daily or weekly routine.
The tools we carry are sustainably sourced and some are designed by personal role model, Cecily Braden, who was American Spa’s 2019 Women in Wellness Awards “Educator and Trainer “of the year. I was fortunate enough to take a Gua Sha Facial Fusion Class this past winter, taught by Cecily, where I learned different types of massage techniques to help heal the skin. I am so proud to carry these tools! I also offer guided Gua Sha & Facial Massage Sessions so you can learn how to effectively add this beautiful practice into your life.
What are some of your favorite skin care products that you carry?
In terms of skin care, you can't go wrong with our best-seller, the Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever, which works wonderfully for all different types of skin. This liquid gold, acts as a oil cleanser, moisturizer and gentle exfoliator all-in-one. In fact, all of the "Best Skin Ever" products are pretty much gold. I also love the Soothesayer Serum and the Frankincense Honey Mask. Also, any-and-all of the Gua Sha Tools we carry are incredibly wonderful when it comes to supporting your skin.
I am also proud to announce that our packaging materials are either biodegradable and/or recyclable. The Holistica Hive strives to set an example in the skin care industry and that's why we reuse packaging materials and source as sustainable and eco-friendly products as we can!
